Havana Rey’s Cigar Shop & Lounge in Mobile, Alabama is named after the owner, Rey Mañas, who immigrated from Havana Cuba in 1959. After working in multiple cities throughout the United States, Rey and his family made Mobile, Alabama home. Rey’s strong entrepreneurship started with Cottage Hill Package Store, located in West Mobile. With the help of his sons, Andrew, Michael, and Patrick, Cottage Hill Package Store quickly became known for their humidor and large selection of premium hand rolled cigars.
After a large remodel Cottage Hill Package Store became one of the largest cigar humidors and liquor stores on the Gulf Coast, featuring a destination for evening cigar rolling and tasting events in the lounge. Reenvisioning the spirit of a cigar-smoking atmosphere with luxurious leather chairs, relaxing lounge drinks, and cheerful cigar aficionados, Rey is bringing his next venture to you in Midtown Mobile, Alabama – Havana Rey’s.
